DAS VILLAIN I became a devoted fan of Penal Colony when I first heard 5 Man Job in 1994. I purchased everything from Dee Madden @ Co including 2003's beautifully angular Unfinished Business. Yet, the early demos of PC only cements their legacy as "punk rockers with a sampler" with these raw cuts of their now classic industrial-goth tracks! Favorite track: Blue 9 (Brea Rehearsal Space Demo).

Scolex Recordings Waited almost 30 years to hear some of these recordings again!

I once had a handmade cassette of an unreleased demo tape titled “$5 Shake” , multiple demo tapes I had accumulated during PC’s heyday in the IE (one of which was unearthed at a flea market of all places !) only to be stolen in what now feels like almost as soon as I acquired them. So twenty plus years of patience finally pays off!

Michael Hateley makes everything sound like it was recorded yesterday! Worth the wait , more pl

Set Draven 𓋹 Fucking fantastic 90's industrial. The grittiness of the demos gives it such a great nostalgic sound. Love the multiple versions, too. Favorite track: When The Veins On The Back Of My Legs Hurt, It's Time To Stop (Anaheim Trailerpark Demo).
